nalgumas versões do mysql foi disponibilizado o comando "rename database" que, segundo este link http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/rename-database.html, causava a perda de informação. o conselho que aí é deixado é que mesmo nas versões do mysql que disponibilizam este comando o mesmo não seja usado.

aquando de uma tentativa de instalação do wpos numa máquina, com o windows vista, integrada num domínio com o active directory obtive um erro na instalação do sql server: "The sa password must meet SQL Server password policy requirements. For strong password guidelines, see Authentication Mode, in SQL Server Books Online.".
